Knife Maker: Chef Kyle Foster
Chef Kyle Foster is a Denver-based chef best known as the owner and chef of Julep, a sophisticated Southern restaurant that brought refined Lowcountry flavors and thoughtful hospitality to the city’s dining scene. Prior to opening Julep Restaurant and Pirate Alley Po’Boys, he served as Chef de Cuisine at Colt & Gray and was known as the “meat guy” at Rebel Restaurant, where his respect for butchery and bold flavors took shape.
A lifelong maker, Kyle is fascinated by the old-world craft of forging knives. He’s also a husband and father of two who loves getting his kids in the kitchen and passing along a passion for cooking and making things by hand.
